Working as the principal CDM contractor, AIS Vanguard delivered a £4.2m project for the removal of 83 heavy blanking & forming presses for export to China. With up to 80 operatives on site at any one time, the project utilised a variety of lift equipment from our in-house fleet, including a JS450 Hydraulic Gantry, a JS400 Hydraulic Gantry, a Versa Lift and a container reach stacker.
Jungheinrich
AIS Vanguard have delivered a wide variety of projects for forklift truck manufacturer, Jungheinrich, over the years, including equipment installation, relocation and lifting. We usually deploy a 12t Valla crane, two plant operators and a lift supervisor to offload each new truck from Jungheinrich’s supplied transport, which is delivered in sections. We convey each truck into the factory, often through low headroom doorways, and proceed to fit the mast and ancillaries in a suitable area, provided by the client ahead of handover.
KUKA Systems
We provided match-marking, dismantling, loading and transporting, offloading, positioning and fixing, of a five-zone cell built by KUKA, followed by electrical and mechanical installation. The AIS Vanguard team included project managers and foreman, electricians, fitters, welders and rigging personnel, working efficiently to exacting standards.
