How We Helped BIP (Oldbury)
Our team successfully dismantled various pieces of equipment over 3 floors for BIP (Oldbury) Ltd.
Working as principal designer and principal contractor, we devised a detailed project plan, method statements, risk assessments, berthing studies and lift plans. We also carried out match marking and photographed and catalogued all equipment, before dismantling it to enable removal.
Our team erected two 10t load bearing scaffold platforms to the first and second floors and removed windows and brickwork to create an aperture for asset removal. We then tracked equipment from the first and second floors onto the scaffold platforms, before using various mobile cranes to remove equipment from the platforms and load it to containers.
We produced detailed container packing lists to enable the production of export commercial invoices to ensure a smooth onward journey to Istanbul by road and sea.
