This year Ainscough Industrial Services has entered a team of four runners into the Edinburgh Marathon in a bid to raise funds for Save the Children.
Matt Ainscough (CEO) and Andy Ricketts (IT Technician) will be entering as first-time marathon runners, undergoing rigorous training and taking on this huge challenge in the name of a charity they believe in. Pete Bolshaw (Rigger/Driver) is the group’s ‘regular runner’, with many miles under his belt and experience in distance races. Andy Argile (IT Manager) will take on any fitness challenge, having completed the London Classics, but is not what most would consider a ‘typical runner’ – lovingly referred to in the office as Big Andy!
Save the Children stand side by side with children in the toughest places to be a child and fight their corner, helping them to survive, get protection and have a chance to learn.
