Recently, Ainscough Industrial Services’ AIS Vanguard division was contracted to consult and assist in the exchange of a Zarafa Group BMU Cradle. Weighing in at an incredible 7500kg, the cradle needed lifting from a 120m high building roof, at a radius of 40m. Access was severely restricted and the conditions of the site grounds posed a real challenge to our team of engineering and machine moving experts.
Our highly experienced contracts managers planned the project meticulously, drawing on years of project management expertise to execute the lift perfectly. Using an LTM1500 configured with a 56m Fixed Fly, the lift was completed safely and efficiently by our dedicated lift supervisor and team of technical lifting experts.
